Verified Ethiopian Airlines Promo Code, Coupons & Deals 2026

Ethiopian Airlines is the flag carrier of Ethiopia and a member of the Star Alliance, operating passenger flights connecting Africa with destinations across the world, including the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Ethiopian Airlines processes refunds for schedule changes made by the airline and for cancellations within 24 hours of booking before departure. You can request a refund through the manage booking portal on their website by submitting your name, email, phone number, ticket number, and a copy of your passport. If you bought "refund protection," you can request a refund for unforeseen circumstances through the refundable.me platform. Requesting a refund on or after your flight date adds a No-Show fee, and once submitted, a refund request cannot be reversed.

Economy Class typically allows 2 checked bags of 23kg each (or 2 pieces of 32kg on some routes), plus one 7kg carry-on. Business Class (Cloud Nine) allows 3 checked bags of 23kg each (or 2 pieces of 32kg), plus two 7kg carry-on items. Star Alliance Gold members get an extra 20kg or one additional piece, and the exact allowance can depend on your specific route.

If your ticket was purchased through a travel agency, you need to contact that agency directly for a refund rather than Ethiopian Airlines. If you paid by cash or bank deposit, you'll need to visit your nearest Ethiopian Airlines office instead.

In the United States, Ethiopian Airlines can be reached toll-free at 1-800-445-2733. Worldwide contact numbers and a support and feedback form are also available on the Help and Contact section of ethiopianairlines.com.
