Parallels makes Parallels Desktop, the app that lets you run Windows and other operating systems side by side on a Mac. Teachers use it to run Windows-only classroom tools, grading software and lab applications on a Mac without restarting.
Does Parallels offer a teacher discount?
Yes. Parallels runs its own education programme for educators as well as students. Faculty and staff get 50% off Parallels Desktop Pro Edition, applied automatically at checkout after verification, so no coupon code is needed.
Who qualifies
- Faculty, teaching staff and staff at accredited colleges and universities
- Academic staff and faculty at accredited public or private K-12 schools, school districts and community colleges, as listed by Parallels
- Anyone with an academic or institutional email address from their school
The discount renews each year while you stay eligible. Only one copy of Parallels Desktop can be bought after each verification.
How to get the Parallels teacher discount
- Open the Parallels education page and click Buy Now on the edition you want.
- Verify your academic or institutional email address in the new tab. Some schools also let you sign in with your school account.
- Check your work inbox for the confirmation email with the discount already applied to your cart.
- Complete the purchase. Your subscription is sent to your email address.
Other Parallels offers on this page
The codes and deals listed on BunnyCoupon are open to everyone, educators included. They cover a sitewide percentage off code, savings on Parallels Desktop for Mac, a free 14-day trial of Parallels Desktop Pro and the 30-day money back guarantee.
How to use a Parallels code
Pick a code from the list, click to copy it, then paste it into the promo code box at the Parallels checkout. The education discount is applied through verification, so a regular promo code may not stack with it. Compare both prices at checkout and keep the lower one.
