Spirit Halloween has a strict, date-based return policy during the Halloween season, so check these dates before you open or wear anything:

In-store returns. New, unworn items in original packaging can be returned for a refund until October 16, 2026. Bring your receipt or proof of purchase.
In-store exchanges. Unworn items with a receipt can be exchanged until October 22, 2026.
Online returns by mail. Items must be new, unworn and in original packaging, returned within 14 days of delivery, and Halloween season returns must be postmarked before October 16. You pay the return shipping, and the original shipping charge is not refunded.
Online orders in stores. Online purchases can also be returned at a Spirit Halloween store on the same schedule.
Final sale. After the exchange deadline, all sales are final, and clearance items can never be returned.

The safest plan is to try your costume on as soon as it arrives, while you still have time to exchange it.

Spirit Halloween Shipping Costs and Delivery Times

Standard. 3 to 7 business days for $6.99, plus $1 for every pound over 1 pound.
Express. 2 to 4 business days, starting at $10.99.
