Traeger Black Friday 2026: Past Deals, Which Grill to Buy and Where to Save

A Traeger pellet grill is one of the most popular big-ticket gifts of the holiday season, and Black Friday is usually the best time of year to buy one. Discounts are not as dramatic as on TVs or headphones, but they add up fast on a grill that costs $900 to $4,000. This guide shows how much Traeger grills have dropped in past Black Friday sales, what is known about 2026 so far, which model fits your budget and where to buy. How Much Do Traeger Grills Drop on Black Friday?

Traeger deals usually come as dollar amounts off rather than big percentages. Here is what the last few Black Friday seasons looked like:

Year	Typical Black Friday deals
2023	$300 off Timberline and Timberline XL, $200 off both Ironwood sizes, $150 off the Pro 575 (down to $649.99)
2024	About $200 off at Amazon: Pro 575 from $799 to $599, Ironwood 650 from $1,299 to $999, Ironwood 885 from $1,499 to $1,299
2025	Smaller cuts of $30 to $100 at Amazon on older models such as the Ranger, Pro 780 and Ironwood 885

The pattern is clear: expect roughly $100 to $300 off, with the biggest savings on flagship and outgoing models. Brand-new models rarely get a real discount in their first holiday season.

Traeger Black Friday 2026: What We Know So Far

Traeger.com. As of late October 2026, Traeger's own sale page shows no products on sale yet. Traeger usually reveals its holiday offers in November.
Lowe's. Lowe's has announced that MyLowe's Rewards members get early access to new Traeger grills and accessories on Lowes.com in November, plus 3X points on eligible Traeger purchases after activation. Lowe's Black Friday deals run for four weeks from October 29, with doorbusters on November 27.
Other retailers. Amazon, The Home Depot and Walmart have carried Traeger deals in past Black Friday sales, mostly on older models.

Which Traeger Should You Buy?

Traeger's range now runs from a portable tailgating grill to a full outdoor-kitchen centerpiece. These are the main models and their list prices as of fall 2026:

Model	List price	Cooking area	Best for
Tailgater 20	$499.99	300 sq in	Camping, tailgating and small balconies
Pro 34	$729.99	884 sq in	Big cooking space on a budget, no app control
Woodridge	$899	860 sq in	First-time pellet grill owners who want WiFi control
Woodridge Pro	$1,149.99	970 sq in	Most families, with Super Smoke mode and a pellet sensor
Ironwood	$1,799.99	616 sq in	Year-round smoking with a heavier, better-sealed build
Ironwood XL	$1,999.99	924 sq in	Large cooks and serious hobby smokers
Timberline XL	$3,999.99	1,320 sq in	Outdoor kitchens, with an induction side burner and cabinet

For most buyers, the Woodridge Pro is the sweet spot: it has WiFIRE app control, Super Smoke mode and a 10-year warranty for a mid-range price. If you smoke often in cold weather, the Ironwood's insulated, sealed build is worth the step up.

How to Get the Best Traeger Deal

Decide on your size first. Cooking area matters more than features. A family of four rarely needs more than 900 square inches.
Look at outgoing models. Older models such as the Ironwood 885 or Pro 780 often get the deepest cuts, but check the warranty, since some legacy models carry 3 years instead of 10.
Compare the full cost. At Traeger.com, accessories ship free but grills carry a shipping charge, while big retailers often offer free delivery or store pickup on grills.
Use rewards. Lowe's 3X points offer and other store rewards can be worth more than a small price cut.
Budget for pellets and a cover. A bag of pellets and a grill cover are the first things you will need, and they are often discounted alongside grills.
Check for military pricing. Traeger offers a military discount through ID.me, which may beat a small Black Friday markdown.

Where to Buy a Traeger on Black Friday

Traeger.com has the full range, Traeger-exclusive bundles and a 45-day return window for unused, unassembled items.
Amazon has discounted older Traeger models in each of the last three Black Friday seasons.
The Home Depot and Lowe's both stock Traeger grills in store, which avoids heavy shipping and lets you see the size in person.
Walmart sometimes carries lower-priced Traeger models and pellets.

Not every grill deal is real. Some sellers raise list prices before Black Friday to make a discount look bigger. See our guide on how to spot real Black Friday deals before you buy.
