Walmart Black Friday 2026: Sale Dates, Walmart+ Early Access and Deals to Expect

Walmart has confirmed its Black Friday 2026 plans, and like last year it is not one sale but three. Early Black Friday Deals run November 12 to 15, the main Black Friday Deals event runs November 23 to 29, and Cyber Monday deals run online from November 30 to December 2. Walmart+ members get the first shot at the hottest deals in the first two events. Walmart Black Friday 2026 Dates and Start Times

These dates come from Walmart's own holiday announcement. Walmart has not published its full list of deals yet, and it usually reveals the featured items a few days before each event starts.

How Walmart+ Early Access Works

Walmart calls its biggest online offers "Deal drops." For both the Early Black Friday and Black Friday events, Walmart+ members get early access to these deals starting at 12:01 a.m. ET on the first day. Any hot Deal drop items still in stock then open to all shoppers 24 hours later, at 12:01 a.m. ET on November 13 and November 24. Walmart also says select online-only deals are reserved for Walmart+ members for the first 24 hours of each of these two events, while supplies last.

Walmart+ price: $98 a year or $12.95 a month, with a 30-day free trial for new members.
Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus bundle: Walmart is also offering both memberships together for $120 a year.
Other Walmart+ perks: free shipping with no order minimum on most items shipped by Walmart, free delivery from your local store on orders of $35 or more, a choice of Peacock Premium or Paramount+ Essential, and fuel discounts at select stations.

If you only want the membership for Black Friday, the free trial or a single month can be enough to cover both early-access events. Just remember that the membership renews automatically unless you cancel.

What Walmart Black Friday Deals Looked Like in 2025

Walmart followed the same three-part pattern last year, with events from November 14 to 16, November 25 to 30, and a one-day Cyber Monday sale on December 1. Walmart+ members got five hours of early access in 2025, so the move to a full 24 hours on select deals is the biggest change this year.

Prices in 2026 will be different, but the pattern is useful: the biggest cuts usually land on vacuums, older laptops and tablets, TVs, small kitchen appliances and outdoor furniture, while brand-new products rarely get deep discounts.

What to Expect in 2026

Gifts under $20. Walmart says it has thousands of gifts under $20 this season, which makes it a good stop for stocking fillers and Secret Santa gifts.
Toys. Walmart's Top Toys list for 2026 includes 25 toys priced under $25. Across US retailers, toy discounts also held up well into December last year, so there is less pressure to buy them on day one.
Electronics and home. TVs, headphones, laptops, vacuums and kitchen appliances are usually the headline Black Friday deals at Walmart.
Free delivery on gifts. Walmart+ members get free delivery on scheduled Walmart deliveries over $35, which helps if you are sending gifts directly.

Is Walmart Open on Thanksgiving 2026?

Walmart closed its stores on Thanksgiving Day in 2025, as it has done in recent years, and is widely expected to do the same on Thursday, November 26, 2026. Walmart has not posted its 2026 holiday store hours yet. Online deals are still available on Walmart.com while stores are closed. In the past, Walmart has also closed early on Christmas Eve and stayed closed on Christmas Day.

Price Match and Returns

Price match: Walmart's price match policy excludes Black Friday and Cyber Week deals, including early Black Friday prices. That means Walmart will not match another store's Black Friday price, and Walmart.com Black Friday prices are not matched in stores. If you see a better price at Target or Best Buy, you need to buy it there.
Holiday returns: in 2025, most items bought from October 1 to December 31 could be returned until January 31. Walmart usually repeats this policy, but check the 2026 terms at checkout.
Marketplace sellers: items sold by third-party sellers on Walmart.com can have their own return rules and fees, so check who the seller is before you buy.

Walmart vs Other Stores on Black Friday

Walmart is strongest on everyday low prices, toys, TVs and household basics. Target runs a new Deal of the Day every day from November 1 and an early Black Friday sale from November 5 to 7, Best Buy starts its early Black Friday deals on November 6, and Amazon usually runs a Black Friday Week through Cyber Monday. Comparing the same item across two or three stores takes only a few minutes and often saves more than any single coupon.
