Lowe's Black Friday 2026: Ad, Doorbusters and Rewards

By Henry Walker • November 7, 2026

Lowe's Black Friday 2026 started Oct 29. See 12 Days of Deals and doorbuster dates, MyLowe's Rewards early access, Thanksgiving hours and price match rules.

Lowe's Black Friday 2026: Ad, Doorbusters and Rewards

Lowe's started Black Friday early this year. Its deals began on October 29, 2026, four weeks before Black Friday, and the season builds from there: a 12 Days of Deals event from November 16, doorbusters for everyone on Friday, November 27, and a one-day head start online for MyLowe's Rewards members. Stores close on Thanksgiving. This post covers the confirmed 2026 dates, what Lowe's has said about its doorbusters, how last year's free bucket giveaway worked, and the price match and return rules to know before you buy. For the deals that are live on Lowes.com right now, see our Lowe's coupons and deals page.

When Does Lowe's Black Friday Start and End in 2026?

Lowe's announced its holiday plans on October 8, 2026. These are the dates it has confirmed:

What	2026 date
Black Friday deals begin	Thursday, October 29 (four weeks of deals)
Kids Workshop: Holiday Engine	Saturday, November 14
12 Days of Deals begins	Monday, November 16
Thanksgiving Day	Thursday, November 26: stores closed, online-only deals, early doorbuster access for rewards members
Black Friday doorbusters for everyone	Friday, November 27
December Deal Drops	December 3 to 24
Kids Workshop: Holiday Trolley Car	Saturday, December 12
Christmas Day	Stores closed

The 12 Days of Deals event is new in name. Lowe's says it has expanded its usual 10 Days of Deals to 12 days this year. Lowe's has not given an exact end date for the Black Friday sale itself. Its own wording is "four weeks" of deals from October 29, which runs up to Black Friday week, and the December Deal Drops pick up from December 3. Lowe's has also not shared Cyber Monday plans in its holiday announcement.

When Does the Lowe's Black Friday Ad Come Out?

Lowe's has not said when its 2026 doorbuster ad will be released. Its October announcement lists the doorbuster categories but no prices. In 2025 Lowe's ran its Black Friday ads in stages rather than as one big ad. 9to5Toys reported a short ad for October 30 to November 5, 2025, followed by a 15-page early Black Friday ad that surfaced on November 5, 2025 and covered November 6 to 19. Expect something similar this year, with the doorbuster prices for November 27 coming last.

Until the ad is out, deals change week by week on Lowes.com. Leaked ads posted online are not official, so confirm any price on Lowes.com or in the Lowe's app before you plan a trip around it.

Which Tools Are in the Lowe's Black Friday Doorbusters?

Tools are the biggest reason people search for Lowe's on Black Friday, and DEWALT comes up more than any other brand. For 2026, Lowe's has confirmed doorbusters on:

Tool brands. Power tools, tool sets and storage from DEWALT, Kobalt and CRAFTSMAN.
Free tools with a kit. Lowe's lists "free products with select purchases from top tool brands" among its Black Friday offers. In 2025 one of these offers was buy one Kobalt kit, get two free tools.
Gift ideas. Kobalt Mini Toolboxes and mini tools, new DEWALT nailers and CRAFTSMAN favorites are part of this year's gift lineup.
Home improvement doorbusters. Select flooring, cabinets, ladders and paint.

A few 2025 Black Friday prices give a sense of the level of discount. As reported by The Krazy Coupon Lady, last year Lowe's sold a DEWALT four-battery pack for $99 (regular $359) and a 242-piece CRAFTSMAN mechanics tool set for $99 (regular $219). These are 2025 prices, not 2026 ones.

Brand matters when you choose a store. Kobalt is Lowe's own tool brand and CRAFTSMAN is sold widely at Lowe's, while RYOBI is a Home Depot brand. If you are comparing the two stores, our Home Depot Black Friday post covers its tool offers in detail.

Lowe's Black Friday Appliance Sale: What to Expect

Major appliances are on Lowe's 2026 doorbuster list, and Lowe's calls Thanksgiving week its biggest savings of the season across appliances, tools, decor and outdoor power equipment. It has not yet published 2026 appliance prices or package savings.

Packages and bundles. Shoppers often look for appliance packages at Black Friday. Compare the bundle price with buying each piece on its own, because single-item doorbusters can sometimes beat a package.
Refrigerators. Refrigerator deals are among the most searched Lowe's Black Friday items. Check the delivery, haul-away and installation costs before you compare final prices.
Price match limits. Black Friday and holiday promotions are excluded from Lowe's price match (see below), so the best move is to buy where the final price is lowest.

For appliance prices at other big stores, check Best Buy and The Home Depot too.

Christmas Trees, Lights and Decor Deals at Lowe's

Holiday decor is the other big Lowe's Black Friday search. The 2026 doorbusters include select pre-lit artificial Christmas trees and Holiday Living lights, garlands and outdoor decor. New this year:

Holiday Living trees. The new Kensington and Real Feel tree collections, plus wreaths, garlands and vintage-style trees and lights.
Rudolph and Friends. New Sam the Snowman and Clarice decor (online only), plus Bumble, Hermey the Elf and Yukon Cornelius.
The Elf on the Shelf. The classic 10-inch Scout Elf, a Lowe's toolbelt outfit and a 5-foot poseable Elf for the front yard.

Lowe's has not announced 2026 prices for trees or inflatables. In 2025, as reported by The Krazy Coupon Lady, its Black Friday deals included $1 one-quart poinsettias in store and Holiday Living Christmas inflatables for $19.98. Real (fresh-cut) Christmas trees are sold in store, and supplies and prices vary by location.

Is There a Lowe's Black Friday Bucket Giveaway in 2026?

Lowe's has not announced a 2026 bucket giveaway yet. Its October holiday announcement does not mention one. Here is how it worked last year so you know what to watch for:

Who got one in 2025. The first 50 MyLowe's Rewards members in line at each store on Black Friday, November 28, 2025.
What was inside. A Great Stuff gap filler canister, a Valspar paint brush, a WD-40 product, a free paint sample coupon and one more product picked by Lowe's.
The bigger prize. One member per store could win an in-stock major appliance priced at $2,000 or less.
How it changed. The 2024 giveaway was for the first 25 members, so the 2025 version doubled the number of buckets per store.

If Lowe's runs it again, you will need a free MyLowe's Rewards account and an early start, because the buckets go to the first people in line. Lowe's publishes official rules for each giveaway, so read them on Lowes.com once they are posted.

Is Lowe's Open on Thanksgiving, and What Are Black Friday Hours?

Lowe's stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026. You can still shop online-only deals on Lowes.com and in the app that day. Stores are also closed on Christmas Day.

Lowe's has not published its 2026 Black Friday opening time. In 2025, many Lowe's stores opened at 6 a.m. on Black Friday, according to shopper reports and deal sites. Hours can differ by location, so check your store's page on Lowes.com the week before.

What MyLowe's Rewards Members Get on Black Friday

MyLowe's Rewards is free to join, and in 2026 it is the main way to get a head start at Lowe's:

Early doorbuster access. MyLowe's Rewards and MyLowe's Pro Rewards members get online access to Black Friday doorbusters one day before everyone else, which means Thanksgiving Day, November 26.
Traeger early access. In November, members get early access to new Traeger grills and accessories on Lowes.com, and can earn 3X points on eligible Traeger purchases after activating the offer.
Free same-day delivery. On eligible items with a $25 minimum, for orders placed by 2 p.m. Restrictions apply.
Member gifts and MyLowe's Money. Members earn MyLowe's Money on purchases and receive free member gifts.

Sign up before Thanksgiving so your account is ready when early access opens. If you are thinking about the Lowe's credit card, the current card offers are on our Lowe's coupons page.

Does Lowe's Price Match Black Friday Deals?

No. Lowe's Lowest Price Guarantee matches a lower price on an identical, in-stock item at a local or online competitor, but its terms exclude one-time promotions, including seasonal events, holiday promotions and Black Friday. Other exclusions that matter in November:

Offers not matched. Rebates, free offers, BOGO deals and "Buy More, Save More" offers.
Items not matched. Clearance, seasonal, closeout, open-box and special-order products.
Sellers not matched. Third-party marketplace sellers, including those on Amazon and Lowe's own marketplace, plus membership warehouse prices.
No stacking. A price match cannot be combined with any other Lowe's offer, discount or coupon.

So if another store has a lower Black Friday price, buying there is usually simpler than asking Lowe's to match it. Our Black Friday deals guide compares the price match rules at other big stores.

Lowe's Return Policy for Black Friday Purchases

Black Friday purchases follow Lowe's normal return policy, but several popular Black Friday categories have much shorter windows than the standard 90 days:

Return window	What it covers
48 hours from delivery or pickup	Major appliances, portable generators, pressure washers, chainsaws, pole saws, tile saws and paint sprayers
30 days	TVs and electronics, most outdoor power equipment, water heaters, liquid paint and house plants
90 days	Most new, unused items, including CRAFTSMAN battery and electric outdoor power equipment
365 days	Trees, shrubs and perennials, and purchases made with a MyLowe's Rewards Credit Card or MyLowe's Pro Rewards Credit Card
On or before Christmas	Christmas items. Christmas items bought after the holiday are final sale.

Lost the receipt? Lowe's can find the purchase through your order number, payment card, phone number or MyLowe's Rewards account. A photo ID may be asked for.
Online orders. Start the return from your order history, then use the FedEx label if one is given or take the item to any Lowe's store.
Not refundable. Delivery and installation charges, gift cards and paint samples.

The appliance rule is the one that catches people out. Inspect a new refrigerator or washer as soon as it arrives, because you only have 48 hours to start a return.

How We Checked

We built this post from Lowe's own announcements. The 2026 dates, doorbuster categories, MyLowe's Rewards perks, Thanksgiving closure and new decor come from Lowe's holiday press release of October 8, 2026 ("Lowe's Unveils Holiday 2026 Lineup with New Gifts and Decor, MyLowe's Rewards Perks and Weeks of Black Friday Savings"). Price match rules come from Lowe's Lowest Price Guarantee terms on Lowes.com, and return rules from Lowe's returns policy page. The 2025 ad dates come from 9to5Toys, and the 2025 prices and bucket giveaway details from The Krazy Coupon Lady and shopper reports. We label all 2025 information clearly. We check these sources again whenever we update this guide.
